To be honest.. I am trying very hard to work thru the underlying anger & upset (it may not seem like it but I am).. It's not directed at you. It's at your job, it's at the situation, cause I made the appointment for after you were supposed to be home from the first time they planned your trip out there...then they kept delaying and delaying... And I know that you would rather be here with me than not. And I know you couldn't tell them you're not able to go. (And you were looking forward to going to see the kids & family)
I also know that you don't "do" crying girls very well... (but most men don't.. makes 'em feel helpless). And unlike the last two times when that person knew the situation and chose to run from it.. It's the support from you that if you were here I'd have and that from there is hard to send. Let's just hope the things they are looking for don't exist and the worry is for nothing. You might both want to have a look at the newish book by Steven Stosny and Pat Love, How to Improve Your Marriage Without Talking About It: Finding Love Beyond Words.
