Loved Four Weddings and a Funeral!

Here's one of my favorite movie scenes - so touching.

A River Runs Through It

I never saw that and I always meant to. Very poetic.

Another one I loved is Henry V and this scene where they sing the Non Nobis .... attributed to the Templars.

Rough translation - "Not our our name but yours O Lord be all glory given."

One of the few movies that I have also read the book. It's a little different than the movie and definatley worth the read.

I just got home from seeing the play "Wicked" with my daughter and some friends. I read the book a year or two ago. The first half of the play had some similar plot lines ... the second half ... not so much. Always amazes me when that happens. One of my favorite murder thrillers is David Baldacci's "Absolute Power." About six years after I read the book the movie came out. They left out the main character! Eek THAT was weird.

We've been thinking about going to that. I've never been to a play (outside of a grade school). It's the first one that's ever looked interesting to me.

We love it... and all I can say is Robert Dinero makes a most curious pirate. whisteling

I was at Target during lunch break and picked up Dark Knight and Prince Caspian-Narnia for a couple of the gifts for Chanukah.
