I am utterly delighted to announce the addition of Ellen -- LouiE --- to the Board of Advisors for the SYMC Global Village!
Ellen joins Joanna (Just_J) and Rich (HoFS)on the current BoA and follows former members Sharon and Steve (whose time and energy we are always grateful for and who left us due to life's little interruptions). The BoA watches over, protects, and guides the workings of this Village and other outreach programs. Without Rich and J and those in the past -- and now Ellen -- we wouldn't be anything close to the safe, nurturing, supportive, geeky, giggly, loving community we are today. So please ... join me in welcoming Ellen to the BoA and to giving some much deserved thanks to our past and current members - especially J and HoFS who have been here through thick and thin ... and then some! OMG! First Head Mod, now BOA...I'm doomed.
 I'm trying to live my life...a task so difficult that it's never been attempted before Hundreds of years from now, it will not matter what my bank account was, the sort of house I lived in, or the kind of car I drove... But the world may be different because I did something so bafflingly crazy that my ruins become a tourist attraction. |
