I ac2ally love the Frank Pittman quote you used at the top of this thread, Penny. So much so, I bought the book!

What's frustrating is that most places don't put the whole quote in, and so it sounds fatalistic when it really shouldn't.

Yes, I like Pittman very much. I ac2ally started with "Private Lies" because so many have recommended it and I thought the quote might have come from there. I think I read about a third of the book when I realized that, although it's very good, I've gotten pretty tired of reminding myself about infidelity!

I'm about that far through Grow up! now, and enjoying it immensely. He has a way of writing that can keep a person riveted.
