Oooooo, thank you so much! My birthday is actually tomorrow, but for someone who has had their birthday forgotten by those closest to her for several years in a row now because of a very thoughtless ex-life-partner ~~~ I take an early birthday as the bestest present ever.
Hypatia, you made my YEAR. PLUS, if you had done this tomorrow morning, I wouldn't have seen it until Sunday, because I am going CAMPING for my birthday with friends!!! We leave early tomorrow morning. So, this year I am 36 years old. Gonna have to get used to saying that number. On the calendar at work, I wrote "29" in quotation marks, indicating that I was turning 29 (again). I looked up there last night and someone had written "39" over my "29"!!!! Nobody would fess up, and they were all laughing hysterically. Bunch of freakin' jesters I work with, I tell ya. Good grief. So far, this is the best birthday I have had in the past 3 years. Maybe longer.    |

Sandy, your graphic reminded me of everything bright and girlie from my childhood ~ My Little Ponies and Strawberry Shortcakes and barbies with purple and pink hair that changed colors when you got it wet......Thank You. Thanks mags! It is officially my birthday today, and I am officially going on a camping trip that I might not remember all of when it is over. I cannot believe how much alcohol we purchased yesterday. Holy cow. Definitely spent more on that than food! And it takes up more space than the food does! Good grief. Did I mention I will probably be the oldest one there? My best friend is 23, and so are most of their friends. Good thing I don't have to be anywhere special early Monday morning...... I'll report as much as I remember when I get back!  |
