I found this in the student handbook for the university I am going to. Showing my nerd side a little telling all that I actually purused the handbook.

Ten reasons to love the rain

1. It's responsible for the yearround lush greenness on our campus. (Very true)

2. It's one of the reasons we have daffodils in February.

3. Rain in the valley often means snow in the mountains, which makes skiing a little easier.

4. It makes you appreciate the sunshine.

5. The sheer variety of fashionable raincoats and umbrellas to choose from.

6. It's an excuse to curl up with a blanket and a good book.

7. You can jump puddles to keep in shape.

8. Bicycle tires make swooshing sounds on wet pavement.

9. The air smells fresh.

10. Rainbows. doesn't this look a bit like a human rainbow??--->

I LOVE the rain. I truly, sincerely LOVE the rain. I get depressed and frustrated when it doesn't rain regularly.

I love the sound as it hits the roof and windshield of my car. I love the sound as it hits my windows and runs along my gutters. I find it soothing, relaxing and I fall asleep to it, contented.

I love the feel of the rain on my face and my head. I like to stretch my hands out and just feel it hit my hands and wash over them.

I dance in the rain. (Just one of the many reasons my neighbors think I'm battier than Norman Bates.) I deliberately take walks in the rain.

The only thing that can make it better is lightning and the accompanying thunder. OH BOY! SHEER BLISS! I dance in that, too. I have a strong desire to dance naked in it. I want to feel it over my body, washing me, cleansing me. I want to dance, unrestrained, uninhibited, with joy and happiness and not care what the world thinks....

I haven't done the last one because I have a strong aversion to straightjackets.

Tak, I know of two places, one in WI at P's and one in Ohio at HoFS' house, where you could do that and not get arrested.

Just in case, you know.

Tak - consider yourself having an open invitation to visit me any time (seriously). I live in Seattle and LOVE to walk in the rain!

It's raining here today and I love it! We haven't had rain for so long. I woke up to the sound of rain it was so peaceful sure made it hard to get up and come in to work....

There's a place on a beautiful creek that H and I used to visit alot ( haven't been there in 2 years) that would be perfect for dancing naked in the rain... Come see me, I'll take ya there.
